The Board of Rubber or so called Rubber Board is a constitutional
body established by the Indian Government, under the Act of Rubber 1947, for
the overall advancement of the industry of rubber in the nation. The government
of India set up a committee of ad-hoc in the year 1945 to study the condition
and to make suitable suggestions. On the suggestions of this committee, the Indian
government approved the Rubber (Marketing and Production) Act, 1947, on April
18th 1947, and the “Indian Rubber Board” was founded immediately. An Amendment
in the Act in 1954 modified the Board name as The Rubber Board.
Qualification/Eligibility required is: Master of Science in (Agricultural Botany/ Botany),
Bachelor of Science (Agricultural Botany/ Botany)
