Indian Air Force is inviting applications from Male and Female Indian Citizens as are Citizenship in July 2015, for Permanent Commission (No.197/15G/PC/M)/ Short Service Commission (No.197/15G/SSC/W), (No.197/15G/SSC/M) in its Meteorological Branch.
Eligibility/Qualification: A Post Graduate Degree in any stream of Science / Statistics / Mathematics / Geography / Environmental Science/ Computer Applications / Oceanography / Meteorology / Applied Physics / Ecology & Environment / Agricultural Meteorology / Geo- Physics / Environmental Biology with minimum 50% (Fifty Percent) marks in aggregate all papers put together (Provided Physics and Maths were studied at Graduation level, with a minimum of 55% (Fifty Five Percent) marks in both.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in final year/semester examinations can also apply for the job provided they full fill the prescribed/required conditions.

Age Criteria: Between 20 to 25. Born between 02 July 1990 to 01 July 1995.
Physical Standards: Height and Weight : Minimum height : Female- 152 Cm with correlated weight. Male -157.5 Cm. All other medical criteria would criteria would be evaluated by the Air Force Medical Authorities whose decision on the fitness would be final.
Selection Procedure: Short-listed candidates will be called for testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards at Mysore, Dehradun, Varanasi or Gandhinagar.

Applicants are required to complete the application form in the prescribed/required format and forward the same to: Post Bag No. 001, Nirman Bhawan Post Office, New Delhi- 110106 by ordinary post on or before 9th of August 2014. Superscribe the envelop with 'Application For Meteorological Branch Course Commencing in January 2014'. Applications are needed to be accompanied with one set of self addressed envelop (size: 23x10cm) with 27 Rs. postage stamp. Two recent color photographs (un attested) similar to the one pasted on the application form.
